Minor biasing does block out.

I was curious, though, about all the comments I've read and seen on videos regarding yarn movement and twist. I'm not sure I'm much concerned about it.deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14386046925445107577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2077899913654300407.post-10700357180143890412012-05-15T23:49:41.272-06:002012-05-15T23:49:41.272-06:00Hm, very interesting! It's more of an annoyance while knitting it, honestly.Trionahttp://trionadesigns.com/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2077899913654300407.post-86909720638432896772012-05-15T07:34:15.269-06:002012-05-15T07:34:15.269-06:00Yup. The stitches are twisted on the needle the way I wrap, which makes no difference as long as I straighten them out on the next pass.
If you "pick" your yarn, instead of throwing, there can be a difference in direction, as well.
I took this approach because I saw so many styles of knitting when I taught classes, some of which were unique to a specific knitter. (There are also quite a number of ways to knit on the European Continent, I discovered. There's also Peruvian knitting, etc.) Each method worked, as long as the stitches weren't twisted in the fabric.
I'll show you what I mean tomorrow night.deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14386046925445107577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2077899913654300407.post-31097767267698454202012-05-14T20:34:06.986-06:002012-05-14T20:34:06.986-06:00I'm confused. If not, the stitches are twisted on the needle with the rear leg in front, no?Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14910238896695633752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2077899913654300407.post-28030918907451733812012-05-14T15:47:34.383-06:002012-05-14T15:47:34.383-06:00Thank you for reading my endless babble about stri...Thank you for reading my endless babble about string!deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14386046925445107577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2077899913654300407.post-86670965435209063832012-05-14T13:49:03.071-06:002012-05-14T13:49:03.071-06:00Yet again you have certainly given me a lot to thi...Yet again you have certainly given me a lot to think about.
